Tristate Classic Car Restoration

Buyer Beware I took my 1961 ford Thunderbird here 1 year ago. They were supposed to replace the damaged glass. A year later and I am now in court to have a judge force Gene the owner to give me my car and the money back from the insurance claim that he stole. Gene owns a shop in New Jersey also with the same name. If you do a quick web search you will see all the previous law suits Gene has had from all the cars he has screwed people over for. Beware buyer

I would just like to say that Gene and his crew were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable about my car which is a 1970 Corvette. I was impressed that they knew so much about classic cars. They repaired my vacuum problem with my windshield washer door and adjusted my carburetor which is a quad jet very professional and I would highly recommend anyone with a classic car to tri-state also Melissa, who is the secretary is very professional showed me around the plant and I was very impressed. I saw work being done on other cars and It was amazing. The price was very fair. I highly recommend this company to do repairs on my car. thank you again Gene and I will be back. Thank you. And this is about tri-state in Marlborough, New Jersey

My 1961 Ford Thunderbird was taken in for simple glass work by Hagerty Insurance. 12 months later I have no car still and Gene the owner has blocked my phone number and refused to answer my voicemails to his office phone. They have stolen two cars now including my 1965 Chevy Corvair. I have a filed police report and am taking legal action to recover my stolen cars

Buyer Beware ! Gene is a con artist. This shop has had 2 of my classic cars for over a year for an insurance claim on glass and some basic paint work. They told me that they didn't do the paint work but they did 12,000$ in work on the brakes. I have filled a police report for my 2 cars which I have not been allowed to see or have back for over a year. I am now having to sue these Sharks.
